![]() Witch Points - These are used to buy the Ingredients and to improve the Effects of the Potions (Studying phase). However, if you buy them with Diamonds their cost will always be the same. Each Ingredient has a different Effect associated with it and if you buy one with Witch Points, their cost will increase. Those ingredients that are available for Diamonds or Witch Points change every week. ![]() You can select twelve different ingredients, of which eight can be bought with Witch Points and four with Diamonds. ![]() Ingredients - These are specific to the Cauldron. In order to brew a Potion successfully there are several aspects to take into account: Once unlocked, the "Cauldron" tab will become visible in your Magic Academy! ![]() In order to be able to access the Cauldron feature you will need to unlock its Technology in Chapter 5. It is not for nothing, methinks, that most large gaming companies these days employ not only game designers and artists, but also psychologists. The Cauldron is another Magic Academy feature but it is also connected in some form with the Tournaments as well! It can be found in the Magic Academy where you can collect Ingredients, brew Potions and gain powerful bonuses, but not without the help of a powerful Sorceress! Together you will be brewing powerful Potions for your city productions.Įvery Saturday morning, the Sorceress will stroll through the surrounding forest of your City to gather fresh ingredients to brew a Magic Potion! The Sorceress will return early on Sunday morning to sort and prepare the fresh ingredients she has gathered for you to brew your potion! although - for the record - I do not mean this as any kind of endorsement or support of, well, anything that's currently happening in-game or planned for the future.Ĭlick to expand.Be my own views here a jaded perspective or not, it seems highly likely to me that InnoGames is well aware that the large majority of players are in the same category as you on this, (I know that I am), since simply having an instinctive feeling - or even a clear memory - that Tournaments/the Spire were once easier than they are now, and/or that the last Gems Tourney was certainly a fair bit easier (to my recollection, at least), cannot, unlike solid data - as kept by a very few dedicated experts like - be relied upon to back up our opinions here, or even to reassure ourselves that we are not, in fact, mistaken - nor yet can such non-empirical feelings/memories be used with much real effect, sadly, in arguments for/against the proposed Tournament alterations - or indeed any future changes to the game. Since the new Tournament formula is so similar to the Spire formula, and because I am sure that InnoGames will rely far more upon real, user-sourced in-game data than upon any opinion stated here (or even far, far away in the much more influential and highly populated galaxy of Anti-Social Meeja.), I very much doubt that any increase in Combat difficulty, now or previously, is either accidental or coincidental. Click to expand.I also agree with both points you make here, - speaking as a vigilant (although not record-keeping.) almost 100% manual fighter both in Tournaments and, where at all possible before the Squad Sizes grow so large that I can't even fill more than two or three Squads (!), in my reluctant partial attempts at the Spire each week both Tourney and Spire do indeed seem to be more difficult both this week and last week, although last week's difference may have been less noticeable since Dust is always a difficult Tourney where even keen regular fighters often lose many Troops and/or Cater more often, so overall weekly Troops/Goods losses may (?) have been harder to gauge for more advanced players.
